My personal scope that I use aboard a cantilever Mossberg 500...

A redfield 3-9x40 Television View. This scope offers good light transmission (being that it may have been made in the 70's for all I know) and a WIDE field of view. Its called the Redfield Widefield Lo-Pro. It's designed for rifles but it handles just fine above my mossberg 500. Even throwing some nice groups.

I've sat till 7:30 in my stand and I could STILL see the crosshairs. And we're talking pitch BLACK here! Got to love that heavy duplex.

Something about relative cost of a big Unertl compared to any shotgun in theater...........and that thing about who cares if you can see it at 350 yards, if you have to hold seven feet above point of impact to get the slug out there?

Glad you are keeping your sense of humor out in the sand, One Shot!
I'm just using an old 3-9x40 Simmons on my USH 12 Gage, so I don't catch any laughs about spending way too much on the rig. Sure would like to get to play with some of your toys though. So how is that rig on.......what can you hunt, again? Camels? Indigs? ;)

Hey One Shot, thanks for keeping the sand hot out there! Looks to me like a hell of a lot of scope you got there, for sure! But what about your Avatar photo? If you've already got the big 50 cal with the moster scope, why not just get another set of mounts and put that thing on your 12 gage? Looks to me like you'd have a "killer" rig then.
